  2. Information on employment for the trailing spouse/partner.

  3. Welcome package for employees and for their children.

  4. A Helen Adams Discount book which includes incentives from local companies offering discounts to our clients.

  5. Free use of our information resource centers.

  6. Assistance in locating interim and rental housing when needed.

  7. Information on and appointments made for school tours and interviews at the schools of your choice—public and private.

  8. Continuous communication during the relocation process and follow-up after home finding trips and move in.

  9. Representation at closing. Coordination of Inspections & Appraisals.

  10. Provide information on other relocation services such as: Interior Decorators, Home Builders, Home Security Providers, Mortgage Companies, Attorneys etc.

  11. Personalized tours of the Charlotte area.

 

A Sample Weekend Tour:

  • Saturday morning the Realtor® will pick up the client from their hotel. The client will be given a Charlotte information package (if they haven't already received one from the Relocation Department), and a bag for all of the materials gathered during the weekend.

  • The client will review the laws for Agency and an Agency Agreement with his/her Realtor®.

  • Depart for tour of Charlotte. The agent will make a convenient stop for lunch during the tour. During the tour the client may take pictures of any homes or neighborhoods of interest to them.

  • If the client would like to include tours of schools, appointments will be made by the agent prior to tour.

  • Return at the end of the day to the real estate office.

  • We will schedule another home tour on Sunday if needed, and return the client to his/her hotel on Sunday afternoon or evening.
